About Us

As long as i can remember, I've dreamed of having a mini pig in the house. Fast forward 20 years to finally living somewhere with a suitable amount of space for my future piggy to roam. All that was left to do was convince my husband. Mission was accomplished fairly quickly and with surprisingly little resistance (and lots of help from the kids). After hours and hours of research I realized that my little piggy would be much happier living outside with the ability to root and roam. Well, I couldn't let him live out there all alone could I? So the same day I picked him up, I picked up another little piggy. They were best buddies. Then my husband wanted his own animals, so we got some bunnies and ducks. Then goats... Then Chickens... Then turkeys... Then more chickens. And it snowballed from there, as it tends to. The 4 of us have been so happy on our little hobby farm and quickly realized how therapeutic it is and how much happiness the animals can bring. We couldn't keep all that joy to ourselves so we opened Country Critter Farm in August 2023 and now here we are!
